Events start in our shop in the Old West Mall or in the West Bragg Creek Parking Lot at our Trailer at 10 am and run for 2-3 hours, unless stated otherwise on our Website! These events are intended to grow a community around the outdoors, reduce barriers and show opportunities. Events. For some events we charge to cover the cost of materials etc. We would love to see you!
Please book your event to let us know if you are coming to ensure we have enough “stuff” ready for you.
Spread the word, bring your kids, friends, family, and dogs……..the more the better.

In the spirit of easter we would like to paint some easter eggs with you and your kids in our caffe.
Join us in our store from 10am-12pm to prep for easter. We will be painting easter eggs to decorate your house.
Included in the fees are materials such as eggs, paint, brushes as well as the Easter egg hunt the following Saturday.
Every participant will receive 5 Eggs to paint and keep. All ages welcome.
There is a $5/participant charge for this event.

Come out for a gentle morning walk through Bragg Creek whilst the kids hunt for easter eggs. The Walk will be around 1h long from 10am-11am. Treats from the easter bunny will be hidden all around for us to find.
Bring a basket/deep pockets or bucket for treasure. Gumboots or boots that can get wet are recommended. Please dress for weather conditions.
All ages and fitness abilities are welcome.

The Handle-Bar is dedicated to creating a community that gathers, embarks on new experiences and creates memories together. With our free Community Events events we intend to grow a community spirit and introduce more people to the great outdoors, while partnering with other businesses in Bragg Creek. We want to introduce you to the intricacies of the backcountry, while you engage and enjoy the company of familiar and new faces on a regular basis. We offer these community events all year, as the weather permits, we will hike, bike and snowshoe together as parents, singles or the eager who want to conquer as many local peaks as possible.
(We offer a discounted lunch, or afternoon coffee, and cake for our community member.)
